The Missions are always looking for volunteers to assist specifically in the Hamilton, Toronto and Oshawa stations, including professional mariners and people in commercial shipping who would like to give back by volunteering their time.

YEAR-ROUND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are many ways that you can volunteer with the Mission to Seafarers Southern Ontario and not all of them necessarily involved having to come down to our Mission Centres in Toronto, Oshawa or Hamilton Ports. Particular volunteer opportunities and needs will be posted here as they arise.

TO VOLUNTEER PLEASE CONTACT

Deacon Diane Elliott, our new Staff and Volunteer Coordinator.  Email:  deacondianeelliott@gmail.com.

The Mission relies on the dedication of volunteers to bring support to our seafarers across MtS centres worldwide. One of such volunteers, Jill Wylie, speaks here about the fulfilment it brings her to provide care and support for seafarers that come to the Ontario port. #SeafarersAwarenessWeek
